EZ2 FAQs – Everything you Need to Know about EZ2 Lotto

How can I win prizes in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) numbers, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in the bet card.

In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

What are the lotto draws today, September 2, 2022?

These are the PCSO games scheduled for today: 2D Lotto (EZ2), 3D Lotto (Swertres), STL, 4D Lotto, Mega Lotto 6/45, and Ultra Lotto 6/58.

Does PCSO have EZ2 draws during holidays?

PCSO regularly suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO shortens its draw schedule in such a manner that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

Who are permitted to play EZ2 Lotto?

PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the EZ2 Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place because of the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.

What is Rambolito?

Rambolito is an EZ2 Lotto game variant that lets its players receive prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.

With Rambolito, the two possible permutations of your selected numbers will be generated (e.g. 15-29 and 29-15). If the EZ2 results match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 2,000.
