2D Lotto (previously called as EZ2 Lotto) is one of the oldest fixed-prize lotteries conducted by PCSO. It has been immensely popular among the public since its introduction in 2004. 2D Lotto prizes are PhP 4,000 for Straight Play and PhP 2,000 for Rambolito Play. The odds of winning these prizes are 1 in 961 and 1 in 465, respectively.

How to Play 2D Lotto
Follow these detailed steps to learn how to play the 2D Lotto game:
- Mark two (2) digits between 1 to 31, one from each column. These digits will be your 2D Lotto combination.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option lets the terminal to randomly pick the number combination for you.
- Mark Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the system automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you selected.
- Mark your play amount in the AMT section.
- Choose the number of draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
- Give your bet card and payment to the cashier and get your generated ticket once printed.
- View the 2D result after the scheduled draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning combination.
2D Lotto ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the the 2D Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
Please note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.
How to Play: Using the 2D Lotto playslip, select a set of two (2) numbers from a field of 1 to 31. You can also play the Lucky Pick (LP) if you do not have any number in mind. After marking your chosen numbers, mark the amount that you’re going to play for each combination. Play amount varies from PhP12.00 to PhP600.00 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Important Protocols to be Observed by Bettors when Playing 2D Lotto
During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires 2D Lotto players to observe the regulations below when transacting in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Wear your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be followed at all PCSO lotto outlets in the country.
- Observe physical distancing when placing 2D Lotto bets.
- Use your own pen to reduce the risk of getting infected with the virus.
- Put the bet slips and cash in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to reduce physical contact.
- Apply alcohols or sanitizers before leaving the outlet.
- Use the garbage cans provided to throw away used play slips and/or non-winning lotto tickets.
2D Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays
PCSO 2D Lotto comes with different prizes for its Standard/Straight and Rambolito plays.
In Straight or Standard play, a bettor who gets the two drawn winning numbers in exact order receives PhP 4,000.
In Rambolito Play, the player takes home PhP 2,000 in case he matches the two different digits in any order.

What are the ways to win in 2D Lotto?
You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you pick two (2) digits, one for each column consisting of digits 1 to 31.
If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in your bet slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

Are 2D Lotto winnings tax-exempt?
2D Lotto winnings are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Law because the highest 2D Lotto prize is only PhP 4,000.
Only winnings exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.
I changed my mind, can I ask for a refund?
You cannot cancel, void or refund a 2D Lotto ticket after it is processed by the terminal. Bettors have the sole responsibility of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the 2D Lotto ticket such as the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Hence, you need to thoroughly check all the numbers and options you selected before you submit the play card to the teller.
Who are permitted to play 2D Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the 2D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place because of the current COVID-19 epidemic.
What happens if the draw date indicated in the 2D Lotto ticket is wrong?
2D Lotto tickets, once generated, can no longer be modified. Hence, bettors are advised to verify their tickets before leaving the lotto outlet. Players are responsible for checking the information printed on their tickets.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency confirms it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4D and 6D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto draws on August 4, 2020.
