How to Play Swertres Lotto
These are the detailed steps when playing the PCSO Swertres Lotto:
- Pick a combination of three (3) numbers from one (1) to nine (9) in each column on a Swertres bet card.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to let the terminal generate the Swertres number combination for you.
- Mark Rambolito in case you want the computer to automatically permutate all the possible combinations of the numbers you have marked.
- Choose the amount that you want to play for each combination.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw section.
- Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
- Check the Swertres result after the live draw to verify if you matched the winning number combination.
Each Swertres combination costs PhP 12. The play amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Swertres ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, soak in water or write anything on your Swertres ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.
Note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim lotto prizes.
Matching all your numbers with the winning combination in exact order gives you 4,500.00 for every 12.00 play.
New Health and Safety Rules to be Observed when Playing Swertres Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting scheme shall be carried out in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Follow physical distancing when buying Swertres tickets.
- Bring your own ball pen to reduce the risk of catching the virus.
- Place the play slips and cash in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to eliminate physical contact.
- Apply disinfectants or sanitizers before leaving the outlet.
- Use the trash cans provided to discard used play slips and/or non-winning lotto tickets.

Swertres FAQs – Everything you Need to Know about Swertres Lotto
How do I win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you mark three (3) numbers, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you mark Rambolito option in the play slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much smaller than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your chosen number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your marked combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Can I get a refund for the Swertres ticket that I bought?
You cannot cancel, void or refund a Swertres ticket once it is accepted by the terminal. Players have the sole responsibility of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the Swertres ticket including the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Hence, you need to double-check all the numbers and options you selected before you give the bet slip to the cashier.
Does PCSO have Swertres draws during holidays?
PCSO generally cancels its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO shortens its draw schedule in such a manner that all draws are finished early in the afternoon.

How do I choose Lucky Pick?

What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO confirms it has no such system yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4D and 6D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto draws on August 4, 2020.
July 18, 2020– All major games ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously increased to PhP 24 as mandated by the TRAIN Act.
