2D RESULT April 21, 2021 – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has released today the official 2D Lotto results at 2 PM, 5 PM and 9 PM.

2D Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was introduced in July 2004 as “EZ2 Lotto” and has since become one of the most popular fixed-prize lotteries in the Philippines. There are two plays in 2D Lotto. These are the Straight Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The chances of winning these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

Along with 2D Lotto (EZ2), PCSO also operates today the draws for 3D Lotto (Swertres), STL, 4D Lotto, Mega Lotto 6/45, and Grand Lotto 6/55.

How to Play 2D Lotto

Follow these detailed instructions to learn how to play the PCSO 2D Lotto game:

  1. Mark two (2) numbers between 1 to 31, one from each column. These numbers will be your 2D Lotto combination.
  2. Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the system to automatically pick the numbers for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the system automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you picked.
  4. Mark your bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. Choose the number of draws you want to join in the Draw section.
  6. Hand over your play slip and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. Check the 2D result right after the live draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning number combination.

One 2D Lotto number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back of the the 2D Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a secure and dry place.

Your ticket needs to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.

Please remember that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play and claim the lotto prizes.

You can also mark “Rambolito” if you want to play the 2D Lotto System bet. The minimum play amount is 12.00 per 2-number combination.

Additional Health and Safety Reminders when Playing 2D Lotto

During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires 2D Lotto bettors to abide by the guidelines below when transacting in all lotto outlets nationwide.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players without face mask will not be allowed to purchase 2D Lotto tickets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
  3. Bring your own ball pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to lessen contact.
  6. Avoid littering and put away used bet slips or old tickets in the garbage bins.

What are the ways to win in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you choose two (2) digits, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in your play card.

In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize regardless if your chosen number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play 2D Lotto?

PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the 2D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place because of the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.

How do I play Rambolito?

Rambolito is a 2D Lotto game variant that lets its players receive prizes even if they did not get the winning numbers in exact order.

With Rambolito, the two possible permutations of your chosen numbers will be generated (e.g. 01-09 and 09-01). If the 2D winning numbers match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 2,000.

To play Rambolito, mark the Rambolito option in the 2D Lotto play card.

How do I choose Lucky Pick?

The Lucky Pick or LP option commands the computer to automatically select the 2D Lotto number for you if you do not have any number in mind.

To use this option, just mark the LP in the playslip.

How much do I win in 2D Lotto?

In Standard/Straight play, you win PhP 4,000 if you got the winning combination in exact order.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency confirms it has no such platform yet in place that will cater to such transactions.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4D and 6D Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– All major lotto ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 as mandated under the TRAIN Law.
