How to Play 2D Lotto

These are the detailed instructions when playing the PCSO 2D Lotto:

  1. Select two (2) digits that will compose your 2D Lotto combination. You can pick from numbers 1 to 31, one number for each column.
  2. If you cannot think of any number combination, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system automatically select the numbers for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito System Play if you want the terminal to automatically compute the possible combinations of the digits you have selected.
  4. Select the play amount in the AMT column.
  5. Choose the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
  6. Hand over your playing card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket after it is printed.
  7. After the draw, access the 2D result to know if you won the prize.

2D Lotto ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back of the the 2D Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.

Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.

Note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.

Important Rules to be Observed by Bettors when Playing 2D Lotto

During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires 2D Lotto bettors to abide by the regulations below when transacting in all lotto outlets nationwide.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors with no face mask will not be allowed to play 2D Lotto.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
  3. Bring your own ball pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to decrease physical contact.
  6. Avoid littering and put away used bet slips or non-winning lotto tickets in the trash cans.

2D Lotto Prizes for Standard/Straight and Rambolito Plays

PCSO 2D Lotto comes with two different prizes for its Straight/Standard and Rambolito plays.

In Straight or Standard play, a bettor who matches the two drawn winning numbers in exact order takes home PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the player wins PhP 2,000 if he matches the two different digits in any order.

How to win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) digits, one for each column consisting of numbers 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in the playing card.

In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize regardless if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?

PCSO most of the time cancels its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule in such a manner that all draws are finished early in the afternoon.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from buying tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it does not have any such platform yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6D and 4D Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Act took effect.
