How to Play 2D Lotto

These are the detailed instructions when playing the 2D Lotto:

  1. Pick two (2) digits that will compose your 2D Lotto combination. You can pick from numbers 1 to 31, one number for each column.
  2. If you can’t think of any number, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the computer automatically select the number combination for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito System Play if you want the system to automatically generate the possible combinations of the digits you have picked.
  4. Select your play amount in the AMT section.
  5. Choose the number of draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
  6. Give your bet card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is generated.
  7. After the draw, check the 2D result to verify if you won the prize.

2D Lotto ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 2D Lotto ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.

Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.

Note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim lotto prizes.

Additional Health and Safety Rules to be Followed when Playing 2D Lotto

During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires 2D Lotto players to observe the protocol below when transacting in all lotto outlets in the country.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players with no face mask will not be allowed to place 2D Lotto bets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
  3. Use your own ball pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to minimize contact.
  6. Avoid littering and put away used play slips or non-winning lotto tickets in the trash bins.

In Straight or Standard Play, a player takes home PhP 4,000 if he gets the two winning numbers in exact order.

How do I win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) numbers, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in the bet card.

In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much smaller than in the Straight Play.

PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

February 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO said it does not have any such platform yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto operation on August 4, 2020.

July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously raised to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
