How to Play 2D Lotto

Follow these complete instructions to learn how to play the 2D Lotto game:

  1. Pick a set of two (2) numbers from one (1) to thirty-one (31) in each column on a 2D Lotto bet card.
  2. If you can’t think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system generate the 2D Lotto number combination for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito if you want the computer to automatically permutate all the possible combinations of the digits you have chosen.
  4. Select the amount that you want to play for each combination.
  5. For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw section.
  6. Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
  7. See the 2D result after the live draw to know if you got the winning combination.

One 2D Lotto number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 2D Lotto ticket and store it in safe and dry place.

Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.

Note that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play and claim lotto prizes.

Just like 3D Lotto, 2D Lotto has three (3) draws each day. The first draw starts at 11AM followed by 4PM and the evening draws at 9PM.

New Protocols to be Observed by Bettors when Playing 2D Lotto

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following guidelines in all lotto outlets nationwide.

  1. Always wear your face mask. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to purchase 2D Lotto tickets.
  2. Follow physical distancing at all times while in the lotto outlet.
  3. Use your own ball pen when placing bets.
  4. Use the tray provided when handing out your bet slip and payment.
  5. Use the disinfectant, hand sanitizer or alcohols provided before leaving the outlet.
  6. Throw away your used play card and old tickets into the garbage bin.

2D Lotto Prizes for Standard/Straight and Rambolito Plays

2D Lotto is one of PCSO’s popular digit game. PCSO uses the following prize system for 2D Lotto:

In Straight or Standard Play, a player receives PhP 4,000 in case he gets the two winning numbers in exact order.

In Rambolito play, the bettor receives PhP 2,000 if he matches the two winning numbers in any order.

How do I win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you mark two (2) numbers, one for each column consisting of digits 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in the play slip.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize even if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the 2D results in any order.

I bet on the wrong number combination by mistake, can I get a refund?

You cannot cancel, void or refund a 2D Lotto ticket once it is printed by the system. Players have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the 2D Lotto ticket including the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.

Therefore, you need to verify all the numbers and options you chose before you submit the bet slip to the teller.

Who are allowed to play 2D Lotto?

Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the 2D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place because of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?

PCSO regularly suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule in such a manner that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.

How do I choose Lucky Pick?

The Lucky Pick or LP option commands the computer to automatically select the 2D Lotto number combination for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.

To use this option, just select the LP in the playslip.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO confirms it does not have any such platform yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO 6D and 4D Lotto draws have resumed.
