How to Play 2D Lotto
2D Lotto is a popular fixed-prize game of two (2) numbers from One (1) to Thirty One (31). Here’s how you can play the 2D Lotto:
- Pick two (2) digits between 1 to 31, one from each column. These numbers will be your 2D Lotto combination.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the computer to randomly choose the numbers for you.
- Mark Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the terminal automatically permutates and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you picked.
- Choose the play amount in the AMT column.
- Mark the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
- Hand over your playing card and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
- See the 2D result after the scheduled draw to see if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
One 2D Lotto combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the 2D Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
Remember that only 18 years old and above are allowed to play and claim the lotto prizes.
You can also mark “Rambolito” if you want to play the 2D Lotto System bet. The minimum play amount is 12.00 per 2-number combination.
New Health and Safety Reminders when Playing 2D Lotto
In light of the on-going pandemic, 2D Lotto enthusiasts must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all PCSO lotto outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety protocols are met.
- Always wear your face mask. Players with no face mask will not be permitted to place 2D Lotto bets.
- Observe physical distancing at all times while in the lotto outlet.
- Use your own pen when placing bets.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your play card and payment.
- Use the alcohols, disinfectant or hand sanitizer provided before leaving the lotto outlet.
- Throw away your used bet card and old lotto tickets into the garbage bin.
2D Lotto Prizes for Straight/Standard and Rambolito Plays
2D Lotto is one of the fixed-prize games of PCSO. In 2D Lotto, matching the two (2) winning numbers in exact order wins you PhP 4,000 per 12 peso Standard play.
Betting via the Rambolito wins you a prize of PhP 2,000 if you get the two (2) winning numbers in any order.

What are the ways to win in 2D Lotto?
You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you mark two (2) numbers, one for each column composed of digits 1 to 31.
If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you mark Rambolito option in your bet card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the 2D results in any order.

Do I win anything even if I DO NOT get the 2D winning numbers in the same order?
You win PhP 2,000 but only if you selected the Rambolito option.
You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play if your 2D number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.
Are 2D Lotto Prizes Tax-free?
2D Lotto prizes are not subject to the 20% tax imposed by the TRAIN Law since the highest 2D Lotto prize is only PhP 4,000.
Only winnings above PhP 10,000 are taxable.
Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?
PCSO generally cancels its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule in such a manner that all draws are finished early in the day.
How much is a 2D Lotto ticket?
A bettor can buy the 2D Lotto ticket for 12 Pesos per number combination at the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Are 2D Lotto and EZ2 Lotto the same?
EZ2 Lotto has been rebranded as 2D Lotto by PCSO. However, a lot of bettors are still used to the name ‘EZ2’. Therefore, we still use the name ‘EZ2’ in some of our updates when referring to 2D Lotto.
