EZ2 Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was rebranded in 2019 as “2D Lotto” and has become one of the extremely popular fixed payout lotteries in the Philippines since its launch in 2004. There are two plays in EZ2 Lotto. These are the Straight Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The chances of winning these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

How to Play EZ2 Lotto
To play PCSO EZ2 Lotto, follow these detailed steps:
- Mark two (2) numbers that will comprise your EZ2 combination. You can select from numbers 1 to 31, one number for each column.
- If you can’t think of any number, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system automatically pick the numbers for you.
- Choose Rambolito System Play if you want the terminal to automatically compute the possible combinations of the digits you have selected.
- Pick your play amount in the AMT section.
- Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Give your bet slip and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket once it is printed.
- After the draw, view the EZ2 result to know if you won the prize.
One EZ2 number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your EZ2 ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.
Your ticket needs to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.
Please note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the lotto prizes.
In playing via Advance Draws, mark how many consecutive draws you want to play in the DRAW panel. You can play the same numbers and play type for six (6) consecutive draws. Pay 12.00 for each play per draw.
New PCSO Regulations to be Observed when Playing EZ2 Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting scheme shall be carried out in all outlets in the country.
- Follow physical distancing when placing EZ2 bets.
- Bring your own pen to minimize the risk of getting infected with the virus.
- Put the bet slips and money in the tray provided by the outlet to minimize physical contact.
- Apply sanitizers or alcohols before you leave the outlet.
- Use the garbage cans provided to throw away used play slips and/or non-winning lotto tickets.
EZ2 Lotto Prizes for Standard/Straight and Rambolito Plays
PCSO EZ2 Lotto comes with two different prizes for its Standard/Straight and Rambolito plays.
In Standard or Straight play, a bettor who matches the two drawn winning numbers in exact order wins PhP 4,000.
In Rambolito Play, the bettor receives PhP 2,000 in case he matches the two different digits in any order.

What are the ways to win in EZ2 Lotto?
You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you pick two (2) numbers, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.
If your entry matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you choose Rambolito option in your bet card.
In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

Are EZ2 Lotto winnings tax-exempt?
EZ2 Lotto prizes are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Law since the maximum EZ2 prize is only PhP 4,000.

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?
PCSO most of the time suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are finished early in the afternoon.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
February 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the public to not to patronize persons and entities pretending to be part of PCSO and luring them to buy lotto tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting platform yet whether through an app, text or calls.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– All major lotto ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 as mandated by the TRAIN Law.
