How to Play EZ2 Lotto

These are the detailed instructions when playing the PCSO EZ2 Lotto:

  1. Select a combination of two (2) numbers from one (1) to thirty-one (31) in each column on an EZ2 play slip.
  2. If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to allow the computer generate the EZ2 number combination for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito in case you want the system to automatically compute all the possible combinations of the digits you have picked.
  4. Select the amount that you want to play for each combination.
  5. For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw panel.
  6. Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
  7. View the EZ2 result after the scheduled draw to see if you got the winning number combination.

Each EZ2 combination costs PhP 12. The play amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back portion of the your EZ2 ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a safe and dry place.

Do not iron, fold, soak in water or write anything on your EZ2 ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

Please note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim lotto prizes.

You can also mark “Rambolito” if you want to play the 2D Lotto System bet. The minimum play amount is 12.00 per 2-number combination.

Additional Health and Safety Guidelines to be Observed when Playing EZ2 Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, EZ2 enthusiasts must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all lotto outlets when buying tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety protocols are met.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to place EZ2 bets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
  3. Bring your own pen.

How to win a prize in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you mark two (2) digits, one for each column consisting of digits 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you mark Rambolito option in the playing card.

In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

Are EZ2 Lotto Prizes Tax-free?

EZ2 Lotto winnings are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act since the maximum EZ2 winning is only PhP 4,000.

Only winnings exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?

PCSO regularly cancels its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule so that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.

What happens if wrong numbers are printed in the EZ2 ticket?

EZ2 tickets, once generated, can no longer be modified. Hence, bettors are advised to examine their tickets before leaving the lotto outlet. Bettors are responsible for checking the information printed on their tickets.

What if I cannot think of any EZ2 number to play?

The Lucky Pick or LP option instructs the computer to automatically choose the EZ2 number for you if you do not have any number in mind.

To use this option, just mark the LP in the playslip.
