How to Play Swertres Lotto
To play Swertres Lotto, follow these detailed instructions:
- Choose a combination of three (3) numbers from one (1) to nine (9) in each column on a Swertres bet card.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to allow the terminal select the Swertres number combination for you.
- Mark Rambolito in case you want the computer to automatically permutate all the possible combinations of the numbers you have chosen.
- Select the amount that you want to play for each combination.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw section.
- Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
- View the Swertres result after the scheduled draw to verify if you matched the winning number combination.
Each Swertres combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Swertres ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.
Your ticket needs to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.
Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the lotto prizes.
Matching all your numbers with the winning combination in exact order gives you 4,500.00 for every 12.00 play.
New Health and Safety Rules to be Followed when Playing Swertres Lotto
PCSO has implemented the protocol below to be followed by Swertres bettors in the country.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to play Swertres.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
- Bring your own pen.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
- Use the money tray to decrease contact.
- Avoid littering and put away used play slips or old lotto tickets in the garbage cans.

In Straight or Standard Play, a bettor wins PhP 4,500 in case he matches all three winning numbers in exact order.
In Rambolito 3 play, the player receives PhP 1,500 in case he gets one pair of same digit and another digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner takes home PhP 750 if he matches the three different digits in any order.

How to win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) digits, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in your play card.
In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much lower than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your selected number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your marked combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Are Swertres Lotto Prizes subject to tax?
Swertres prizes are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Law because the maximum Swertres prize is only PhP 4,500.
Only winnings exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.
How many Advance Draws can I play in Swertres Lotto?
You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just mark your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your Swertres combination will then be played repeatedly according to the number of draws you selected.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Swertres combination shall be valid for the subsequent six (6) Swertres draws.
I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play Swertres Lotto?
Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the Swertres Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place due to the current COVID-19 epidemic.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Statements
February 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4D and 6D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto operation on August 4, 2020.
