2D Lotto, previously called as EZ2 Lotto, is one of the most favorite fixed-prize lotteries conducted by PCSO since its creation in 2004. Its prizes are PhP 4,000 for Standard Play and PhP 2,000 for Rambolito Play. Your chances of getting these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

How to Play 2D Lotto

Follow these detailed steps to learn how to play the 2D Lotto game:

  1. Choose two (2) numbers between 1 to 31, one from each column. These digits will be your 2D Lotto combination.
  2. Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the system to automatically select the numbers for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the terminal automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you picked.
  4. Mark the bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. Mark the number of draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
  6. Give your bet card and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. View the 2D result right after the scheduled draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning number combination.

Each 2D Lotto number combination costs PhP 12. The play amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back portion of the the 2D Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a safe and dry place.

Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your 2D Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

Please remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the lotto prizes.

How to Play: Using the 2D Lotto playslip, select a set of two (2) numbers from a field of 1 to 31. You can also play the Lucky Pick (LP) if you do not have any number in mind. After marking your chosen numbers, mark the amount that you’re going to play for each combination. Play amount varies from PhP12.00 to PhP600.00 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Important Health and Safety Rules to be Observed when Playing 2D Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, 2D Lotto enthusiasts must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all outlets when purchasing tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety standards are met.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players without face mask will not be permitted to buy 2D Lotto tickets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
  3. Bring your own pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to reduce physical contact.
  6. Avoid littering and put away used bet slips or non-winning lotto tickets in the trash cans.

2D Lotto Prizes for Standard/Straight and Rambolito Plays

2D Lotto is one of the fixed-prize games of PCSO. In 2D Lotto, getting the two (2) winning numbers in exact order gives you PhP 4,000 per 12 peso Standard play.

Playing via the Rambolito wins you a prize of PhP 2,000 if you get the two (2) winning numbers in any order.

How to win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you pick two (2) digits, one for each column consisting of digits 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in your play card.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the 2D results in any order.

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

What if I made a mistake in marking my EZ2 numbers?

To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto entry, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the bet card to the cashier.

Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto number combination before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto entry that has been printed by the computer can no longer be voided or canceled.

Who are permitted to play 2D Lotto?

Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the 2D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place due to the current COVID-19 epidemic.

How do I win in Rambolito?

Rambolito is a 2D Lotto game variant that lets its players receive prizes even if they did not get the winning numbers in exact order.

With Rambolito, the two possible permutations of your selected numbers will be generated (e.g. 12-25 and 25-12). If the 2D results match your number combination in any order, you receive a prize worth PhP 2,000.

To play Rambolito, select the Rambolito option in the 2D Lotto play card.

How do I claim my 2D Lotto Prize?

To claim 2D Lotto winnings below PhP 5,000, proceed to the authorized lotto outlet or PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Prizes above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.

Lotto prizes above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements

February 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the betting public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and luring them to purchase lotto tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting system yet whether through an app, text or calls.

January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6D and 4D Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
